Electric Pod Drive 1.0 Evo (1kW / 3HP) is space-saving and efficient, popular with sailboats and small watercraft. The new ePropulsion Evo Pod Drives are direct-drive and maintenance-free electric motors. They’re space-saving and maximize your cabin space. You hear no noise onboard. Under 10HP, it’s a market gap of diesel sail drive. And, ePropulsion Pod Drives can satisfy the demand and offer a new option other than outboard. They allow you to generate electricity from wind and water with hydrogeneration function.

Compatible with E-Series batteries and your choice of 4 controllers (Evo Tiller, Evo Top Mount Remote Control, Evo Side Mount Control, Dual Remote Control). Our all new Safety Wristband works with the Evo Tiller and Evo Top Mount Remote Control giving you peace of mind with easy to use man overboard protection. * The standard charger of the E-Series battery is purchased separately. It’s a unified charger that works with E40, E80 and E175. For fast charging, you could use two or more chargers in parallel connection.

I used Electric Marina to plan my Nonsuch 30U electric conversion. Ceal and I had numerous phone calls—including when I was overseas—to ensure my requirements were met. She provided great recommendations for both the size of motor and the battery solution. An electric conversion is new and can be viewed as daunting, but Ceal and Electric Marina made it very simple.
