Thank you Electric Marina for your assistance in sizing and a proposing a turn-key electric outboard retrofit kit for my vintage 1966 Pearson Ariel 26’ sailboat. The preliminary power analysis was conservative, complete, and did not over promise. The Torqeedo Cruise 3.0 with dual 24V-3500 batteries will be provide plenty of power and range for a long weekend of sailing on Chickamauga Lake. The Torqeedo provides a top-end of 5.0 knots, which is in-line with the performance of the Tohatsu Sailpro 6 that it replaced. Torqeedo nailed the comparison of the Cruise 3.0 with 6hp petrol outboard. It has been very nice going out onto the lake silence. Being able to hear my cabin mounted radio in the cockpit, along with no motor vibration has been a joy. I look forward to working with you again in the future as I upgrade my solar charging system.
